No Pictures but it's still been fun!

I have to say, it's very difficult to share all the projects I've been working on for the last several months without pictures! It's not as fun to read either I know!

We still don't have a camera and I have to say...I really would like to get this one fixed or another one (they're so cheap now!) before this baby is due!!

Oh well! Here's a quick list of many of the projects I've finished:

3 book bags, one for each little one and several garage sale find books to put in them
A stamp book for each with 12 Library Dates with their dad
Grandparent's scrapbook pages (one per kid) for their (grandparent's) albums (6 8x8 pages total)
One apron is finished (2 more to make)
Golden Plates journal - ok this one I will have to post about after I get some pictures - this one was inspired, I LOVE it!
Altered first inital for each kid - marker for their stocking who's perm location will be marking their cubbie hole.
A small 4x6 album of their name with definition, picture, scripture and space for more learning about themselves and their connection to Heaven
Repaired an antique rolling pin
3-4x6 Personalized cookbooks with stamp pages for 12 cooking times with Mommy
About 80 crayon race cars (melted and poured into candy molds) to give to friends etc

Currently I'm working on:
More aprons & Bibs
Some jar mixes
Thanksgiving Cards (instead of Christmas cards!)
More Golden Plates so everyone in our little (growing) family has one
Some candles - these I want to blog about too when I get pictures, I think they're going to be touching
And some pj pants

Then comes the wrapping paper the kids have been painting
The gifts I want to wrap real nice and creative like...hmm we'll see if that happens
Gotta get oranges and some candy. I haven't started making candy and loads of cookies for Christmas yet, and it's definitly going to wait for another year! LOL

I did tons of garage sale shopping with and without a list and got some GREAT things. Much of what I've made I already had the supplies for. I have been SO blessed with what I've been able to make and do at such a small cost. And yes, I did get some things for myself that I have stored in a box for my hubby to use. I can't help it! Why spend $30 on something that I found for $3 at a garage sale! I'll just forget it's in there :) In the past he hasn't liked that I do this so maybe Santa will be giving me that box o' fun. LOL!

Ok so off I go to dessert the kids, brush teeth, prayer and roll them into bed so I can work on presents!!

Merry Christmas!

One foot in front of the other

Because I like the idea of being prepared for Christmas, I have decided to adjust my binder to be a year of celebrations. I have everything from official holidays to birthdays to other special days all outlined in one binder. I'm really loving it.

Goal #1 I'm not done with it yet, but it's well on it's way! I currently am out of ink so I'm hand writing everything (not quite as bad as it sounds...just almost)

Goal #2 I have lots of information on my computer in the form of website bookmarks that once I have decided to get or create I will include them in my binder.

Goal #3 As for my desk...honestly, I haven't even touched it!

Oh and ps...my camera is totally dead so no pictures expected anytime soon unless they are things that are already on/created on my computer!

June's Reindeer Day

Yes, I'm way past June 25th, but I just found all of this today so I'm starting where I'm standing.

  • Create Holiday Binder: I'm planning on including Thanksgiving and the New Year's celebrations, so this truly will be a Holiday planner!
  • Gather all information I already have regarding Favorite Foods, Card List addresses, Gift List etc.
  • Clear off desk for all my coming projects and fun!

I'll be posting pictures because it's just fun to see what other people are doing ;)

I'm so excited about this adventure and the peace it's going to bring!

I'm Converted!

Ok! Let's get this party started!

I am excited about working on Christmas all this year in small increments so December can be enjoyed so much more fully. Plus I just made the connection that I'm due with baby #4 on the 10th (or 11th or 12th or ...) of December...so this inspired excitement is truly timely!
